Specifications of ASLAUG :

Length 24.00m, beam 4.85m, draft 1.25m, air draft 3.35m. Made of steel plates, with a central bottom of 20mm, lower sides 10mm, upper sides and superstructure 6mm. She has a John Deere engine of 225 HP, a bow and a stern thruster (both hydraulic), a generator of 13.5 KVA, 2 hydraulic pin anchors, two manually handled bow anchors of each 80 kg, one electrically handled emergency anchor aft, also 80 kg. There is a garage below deck up front with a car and a crane to lift it (electrical and hydraulic). The upper part of the wheelhouse is of aluminum and is collapsible (can lower 90cm by means of hydraulics). A Kabola oil heating unit and radiators provide heating, together with a wood burning stove. Tank capacity : 10,500 L diesel, 500 L day-tank with extra filtering, 6,500 L drinking water with filtering, 3,500 L grey/black water. A Blue Board and an AIS category A complete the technical equipment, and 2 aluminum telescopic “écoirres” (distance poles) and a 4 m gangway assure safe access to shore.
